UNIVERSAL Infotainment Systems Corporation (UNIV) is a publically traded applied software and hardware solutions company that is committed to delivering world class, high value & quality products and services developed on a foundation of robust US Technology and IT methods.
Universal specializes in the development and marketing of innovative vehicle navigation systems and related technology products including 3G solutions and live video among other media elements.
Universal builds on the experience and capability of its technical and business personnel by choosing highly qualified strategic partners to extend the reach and compliment the overall offerings of the company. Universal fully stands behind its products and offers comprehensive warranty and support programs. Universal consciously strives to increase its worth through innovation, imagination and hard work. Above all, Universal seeks to provide products that meet or exceed expectations, believing that satisfied customers will be the company’s main business driver. All component parts have been selected for compatibility with country of origin regulations and electrical codes.
UISC (Universal) develops leading edge In-Vehicle Infotainment and Navigation Systems that combine the benefits of the latest communications and computing technologies with the vastly improved spatial data sources available from high resolution Satellite and Aerial photography.
Universal has incorporated the latest tools and technologies available in the market and used these to its advantage. For example, instead of carrying map data in a DVD that sits in a peripheral player, Universal stores all of the data HD (in hard drive) within the computer system of its Infotainment Solution which runs the navigation engine and thereby optimizes the storage and retrieval function as well as enhances the display for the user.
Universal has analyzed the market potential for its products and believes that the products under development and those ready to enter the market address deficiencies with competing systems and offer a better solution.
The initial target market for Universal is high end luxury vehicles (automobile and SUV) of which in Europe this category expands to 2 million new registrations per year and similarly in North America.
Universal has taken its “flagship” product, UIS, to a commercial level and is looking to expand operations as the company goes into full production and undertakes new research and development activities that will lead to new products for the market. Private offerings of stock will provide Universal with the necessary financing to begin the final stage in developing the North America version of UIS, and begin hardware production in Taiwan (TW-ROC) for the Middle East (ME) market while creating the necessary technology base in TW, the European Union (EU) and the USA from which to build its position in the market.
One of Universal’s major goals is that “dollar per dollar,” the consumer will more than get their money’s worth when comparing the UISInfotainment to that of the factory installed infotainment systems and especially when comparing UISInfotainment to the many aftermarket “stick it on your windshield” solutions available today.
We intend to deliver “value across the board.” From the consumer to our stockholders, and to the navigation industry worldwide, we intend to live up to our slogan which clearly states: “We have changed the way you Navigate in your World.”
Universal’s initial aftermarket Infotainment Application (UIS) has been designed to work with Kenwood Japan after market Touch Screen Media display units.
